Catesby Estates Completes Sale of 13-Acre Gloucestershire Site to Charles Church

Catesby Estates has sold a 13.21-acre site at Chestnut Tree Farm in Twigworth, Gloucestershire, to Charles Church for an undisclosed sum. The land has outline planning permission for up to 85 homes, 40% of which are set aside for on-site affordable housing.
David Harper, associate land director at Catesby Estates, said the sale marked further progress in delivering new homes and public open space in South West England.
Steve Lambley, land director at Charles Church South Midlands, said the housebuilder will shortly submit a reserved matters application to Tewkesbury Borough Council and hopes to deliver the first homes in summer 2027. He thanked colleague Dan Bentley and David Harper for their work on the deal.
Julian Harbottle of Savills and Andrew Bower of Court Consulting advised the landowner and Catesby on the sale.
