UK Property Forums6 February 2025

Hillingdon Takes Off, a free one-day investor conference taking place on 13 February 2025 at the Battle of Britain Bunker Museum in Uxbridge, is almost fully booked, with a waiting list in operation.

The event, run by UK Property Forums in partnership with Hillingdon Council, is aimed at investors, developers and advisers interested in the council's economic investment plans and opportunities in west London.

Speakers include Karrie Whelan, Corporate Director of Place at Hillingdon Council, and Andy Sharma, CEO of the Hillingdon Chamber of Commerce, who will outline development sites and opportunities across the borough. UKPF managing director Matthew Battle said the area offers investors real opportunities and the event would help them identify potential sites.

Panellists include Natalie Daniels, Assistant Director of Housing at the Greater London Authority; Christina Calderato, Director of Strategy at TfL; Becky Coffin, Communities and Sustainability Director at Heathrow Airport, who will speak on sustainable growth; Geoff Rodgers of Brunel University and Ross Ray of SEGRO on employment and partnerships; Majeed Neky of the West London Alliance; and Julia Johnson, Director of Planning and Sustainable Growth at Hillingdon Council.

Attendees will also have the chance to network and take a free tour of the Bunker, where experts will explain its historic technology.
