ICW Extends A-Rated Structural Warranty Offering to Republic of Ireland

ICW has extended its structural warranty services to the Republic of Ireland, following a period of strong growth across its UK business, where it works with a broad range of major developers, housebuilders and construction firms.
Trading as ICW Europe, the company will provide structural warranties to housebuilders and developers in Ireland, supported by building surveyors and support teams based across the region.
Its products include a ten-year residential policy covering new builds, renovations and retrospective cover; a commercial building warranty offering bespoke cover for commercial and mixed-use projects; and affordable housing cover for either ten or 12 years. Premiums are calculated on build cost rather than sale price, which ICW says offers better value and realistic protection for homeowners, and policies are underwritten by A-rated insurers.
Laurance Belton, sales director at ICW Europe, said the company is pleased to bring its warranties to what he described as a vibrant Irish housebuilding sector. Director Andrew Spratt said the expansion builds on the firm's reputation for customer service and that ICW sees considerable potential in the Irish market.
