Colliers Assists Foster + Partners to Find New Office Space in London

Colliers has spent the past two years advising architectural practice Foster + Partners on a property strategy for its expanding London campus, leading to a new letting at 50 Electric Boulevard at Battersea Power Station.
Foster + Partners has agreed a deal with Battersea Power Station Development Company to take 48,000 sq ft over three floors, a move the landlord says will support the practice's continued global growth. The firm will also keep its existing London base at 22 Hester Road, where it has been located since 1990.
Foster + Partners itself designed the 200,000 sq ft sustainable office building, which features 2.82-metre floor-to-ceiling heights, opening windows and access to private and shared terraces. The practice also designed Apple's 500,000 sq ft UK headquarters inside the Power Station and its store in Turbine Hall A.
Tom Marsden, London Offices director at Colliers, described the process as a collaborative effort between the practice and the landlord. He called 50 Electric Boulevard an exceptional building in an iconic, emerging location and a natural choice for a firm expanding in a neighbourhood it has long called home.
