Glenigan Partners with Planning Portal for Early Access to Planning Applications
Glenigan, which is powered by Hubexo, has formed a partnership with the Planning Portal that gives its users access to planning applications more than three weeks before they are published on local authority websites.
The Planning Portal is the national route for submitting planning applications in England and Wales. By combining its real-time data with Glenigan's construction project information, subscribers can see upcoming developments earlier, spot opportunities at the pre-planning stage and build stronger project pipelines.
Joanne Keit, president of Hubexo UK and Ireland, said receiving applications ahead of public release would give subscribers a competitive advantage. Daniel Williams, chief revenue officer at Planning Portal and TerraQuest, said the partnership supports efforts to speed up and digitise planning in line with the government's push for a more modern and responsive system, helping firms plan resources, align with policy and deliver projects more efficiently.
Glenigan says the arrangement will help construction professionals in both the public and private sectors identify opportunities sooner and make better-informed decisions.
