Enter Your Project, Team or Technology for the London Construction Awards

London Build 20267 August 2026

Entries for the London Construction Awards close on 4 September, leaving roughly a month for projects, products, people and teams to put themselves forward.

Run by London Build and elementalLONDON, the awards recognise good practice and innovation across building and construction. Despite the name, schemes from anywhere in the country can enter; "London" refers only to where the ceremony takes place.

The awards have grown steadily over the ten years since they began. Last year attracted a record 300 entries in 23 categories, and winners included AtkinsRéalis, GSK and Mace.

This year there are 21 categories, intended to give every part of the construction supply chain a chance to take part. Among them are Women in Construction Initiative, Contractor of the Year and Specialist Contractor of the Year, as well as three separate project awards covering Residential, Commercial and Retrofit schemes. Three categories are new: Energy Efficient Innovation of the Year, Low-Carbon Building of the Year and The Occupant Impact Award. The organisers say these were added to reflect the wider range of innovation on show now that London Build and elementalLONDON share a venue at ExCeL London.

The ceremony will be held on the evening of 25 November, the opening day of the two events at ExCeL, so shortlisted entrants who are already attending will not need to make a separate trip. It will stay a black-tie occasion.

Anyone interested can find the full category list on the London Construction Awards website ahead of the September deadline.
