Enterprise Centre Offers Range of Possibilities

Greenslade Taylor Hunt is marketing Beckett House on Bridge Street, Williton, in West Somerset, a modern purpose-built building currently used as a hub for small businesses.
The property is one of several buildings Somerset Council has deemed surplus, with the sale prompted by the council’s difficult financial position. It is near the village centre, where the A39 and A358 meet, making it convenient for commuters to Taunton and Bridgwater.
The building has four offices, two large training rooms, a kitchen, toilets and storerooms, plus nine parking spaces, on a site of about 0.1 hectares (0.24 acres). It is currently let to three tenants and produces income; they will remain in place on sale, though all leases can be ended on no more than three months’ notice.
There is no recent planning history, but the agents believe it could suit alternative commercial or residential uses, subject to planning. Unconditional offers were invited at a guide price of £200,000, with a deadline of 12 noon on Friday 8 August.
