Potential for Development Close to Motorway

Greenslade Taylor Hunt is marketing around 0.89 hectares (2.20 acres) of land south east of Killams Avenue, on the edge of Taunton, at a guide price of £75,000. The site is bordered by housing, the M5 and farmland.

The firm's planning and development team believes the land could suit a mix of uses, subject to consent, even though it lies outside the Taunton boundary.

Somerset Council, created in 2023 from the merger of the county's district councils, is currently relying on its predecessors' Local Plan while it prepares a new countywide plan. GTH sees this as an opportunity to promote the site through the emerging Somerset Local Plan, which will set planning policy across the whole unitary area once adopted.
