Q1 2026: Listings Performance Across The Landsite

The platform recorded its highest-ever number of listing enquiries between January and March 2026, covering residential development land, commercial investments, industrial units, agricultural land and mixed-use property. The figures suggest buyer appetite has held up despite the wider economic climate.
London accounted for around 36% of all enquiries, with healthy interest also coming from Somerset, Surrey and Hampshire. The ten busiest regions were London, Somerset, Surrey, Hampshire, Kent, Dorset, County Durham, Derbyshire, West Sussex and Staffordshire.
The most enquired-about listings included development sites in Gosport, Ilford, Lambeth, Kingswinford and Ipswich, a former food store in Hilton, County Durham, a detached building with land in Mottingham, an industrial unit in Belper and a residential investment in Enfield. The Hilton store drew four enquiries, making it joint top, reflecting developer interest in repurposing former retail premises. The Gosport site attracted several enquiries in a short period in March, while Ilford benefited from its Crossrail-linked regeneration.
In London, interest spanned East and South West London development sites, City commercial investments, mixed-use in Twickenham and retail in Croydon. Somerset received seven enquiries, from farmland to commercial units near Bridgwater. Surrey interest centred on Guildford, Woking and Windlesham, and Hampshire included commercial investments in Portchester.
The review draws out several themes:
• Development land, both brownfield and greenfield, generated the most interest • Industrial, retail and mixed-use assets attracted repeat interest from yield-seeking investors • Demand outside London is real and growing • Well-described, realistically priced listings performed best • Several top listings drew multiple enquiries within days of going live
Enquiry volumes are expected to rise further through spring, particularly for residential development, commercial investment and agricultural land. Agents are advised that good photography, precise locations, realistic pricing and a clear description of the opportunity all lift response rates.
