Q2 2026: Listings Performance Across The Landsite

Enquiry levels on The Landsite remained healthy from April to June 2026, carrying forward the activity seen in the first quarter. Buyers asked about development sites, freehold commercial property, industrial units, shops, land and investments across Great Britain, from Scotland to the south coast. May was a little slower, but June turned out to be the busiest month of the quarter, suggesting demand was strengthening as the year went on.
London produced about 48% of all enquiries, and that interest was spread widely across the capital, with Croydon, Lambeth, Enfield, Kingston, Forest Hill and Beckenham each appearing more than once. Kent, Surrey, Essex and Scotland also generated notable numbers. Kent's nine enquiries centred on development land near Swanley, with further interest in Dartford, Gravesend and Folkestone. Surrey's activity came mainly from commercial and retail property in Farnham, Dorking and Epsom, while Essex was driven by industrial investments around Basildon. Scotland contributed five enquiries covering Dunblane, Kirkintilloch, Broxburn and Larbert.
The single most popular listing was land and buildings in Heston, Hounslow, marketed by Vokins, which drew three approaches in April. A residential investment in Enfield, EN3, listed by Whozoo, also received three enquiries in early May. Two enquiries apiece went to open industrial land at Upminster, marketed by Glenny, and a Kingston upon Thames car park with development potential, listed by Whozoo. Outside London, a Colliers development site in Kingswinford drew repeat interest from Midlands buyers, and a Clive Emson investment in Torquay showed regional demand beyond the South East.
The report draws several conclusions. Property with a clear route to adding value, whether land, development sites or income-producing investments, attracted the most interest. Listings that received several enquiries soon after going live indicate genuine demand. Buyers outside London were active, and enquiries about membership arrived steadily each month without any dedicated campaign.
Looking to the summer, further growth in enquiries is expected, especially for development land and investment stock. The report notes that good photographs, realistic pricing and a clear description made in the opening lines were common features of the listings that performed best. The figures come from the platform's own enquiries records for April to June 2026.
